Shopify product page grader
Enter your store's address and we'll pick a product and grade the page on the things shoppers look for before they buy. You get a score and a fix list in seconds.
What it checks
- Description length and detail
- Number of product photos
- Reviews on the page
- Delivery and returns near the buy button
- Express checkout (Shop Pay, Apple Pay, PayPal)
- Image descriptions and product data for Google
What a product page has to do
A product page answers four questions before the shopper will pay: what exactly is this, is it right for me, can I trust this store, and what will it cost me to get it. Every gap sends them to search, to a competitor, or away.
This grader checks the parts that can be measured automatically. It reads the page the way Google and a fast-scrolling shopper do: the description, the photos, whether reviews show, and whether delivery and returns are mentioned near the price.
A product page checklist
- Price, delivery cost and Add to Cart visible without scrolling on a phone.
- At least four photos: several angles, in use, at scale, and close up on the detail that justifies the price.
- A 120–300 word description that answers the questions customers email you most: size or fit, materials, how to use it, who it's for.
- A star rating under the title, and reviews further down.
- One line on delivery and returns under the price: how long, how much, and how returns work.
- Express checkout buttons, so mobile shoppers can skip typing their address.
What it can't see
Automatic checks can't tell whether your photos are good, whether your copy sounds like you, or what happens in your cart and checkout. That's what a full teardown is for: we go through the store as a first-time shopper on a phone and a laptop, and write down everything that slows them down.
